Raphaël and I recently produced a draft for a small extension of a classical house in Toulouse. Using an existing garage, the client wanted to convert it into a small hotel room, adding a second floor to it. Following the building regulation of the neighborhood, we had to create a shifted and cantilevered volume supported by a concrete wall, generating an interesting relation with the existing structure.--
Raphaël et moi avons récemment réalisé une esquisse pour une petite extension de maison à Toulouse. Le client souhaitait convertir un garage existant en un petit gîte urbain, en ajoutant un étage au volume existant. En respectant les règlements urbains du quartier, nous avons dû créer un volume décalé, en porte-à-faux mais soutenu par un voile de béton, générant une relation intéressante à la structure existante.
